Since 2013, MRS Ortho, LLC has represented multiple companies in the orthopedic industry primarily focused on the foot and ankle. In 2021, we expanded its offerings to include other Sports Medicine and Biologics products in our portfolio. MRS Ortho offers our surgeon customers the latest in technological and innovative orthopedic solutions. As a limited liability company described in the medical device industry as an “Independent Agent or Distributor,” we work as the sales arm but do not manufacture any of the products we represent.

Our sales team is extensively trained in the clinical use and surgical application of the products we sell and dedicated to supplying first-class customer service. Our passion is to be a vital and relevant resource for our surgeon customers and their patients.

Our Team


Charley Redden – Partner

Charley Redden graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1997 and moved to Dallas. He started in the orthopedic sales industry in 1999. Over the past 25 years, Charley has produced over 110M dollars in sales. In 2013, he cofounded MRS Ortho with Jason Mast as an opportunity to create a company whose focus is on the extremities market. Charley believes the extremities market is where the most innovative technology is and is often heard saying, “It’s a lifestyle, not a career.”

Jason Mast – Partner

Jason Mast started in the orthopedic industry in 2008, focusing on total ankle and shoulder arthroplasty. Seeing the need for an innovative foot and ankle product, he joined Charley Redden to start MRS Ortho in 2014. In May 2017, he went on to work with two local design surgeons to create the first shoulder arthroplasty computer-navigated device. Jason has worked with many different systems and has aided in countless custom implant designs in the limb salvage industry.

Trevor Hegarty – Extremities Manager

Trevor Hegarty is originally from Ireland, where he worked in the building sales industry for 22 years. After moving to Dallas in 2014, he began working in orthopedic sales and has been the sales manager at MRS Ortho since 2019.

Melinda Barker – Ortho Rep

Melinda Barker started in the orthopedic business in 2010 where she sold hips, knees and shoulder devices. She transferred into the foot and ankle market after two and a half years and thrived in the total ankle business. Since then, Melinda has continued to build a great network of surgeons and grow her business over the years.

Benny Zavadsky – Ortho Rep

A transplant from overseas, Ben Zavadsky has called Dallas his home since 2014. After high school, Ben studied applied engineering and spent several years in the air force as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic. His professional experience has always been engineering-focused, and his current position at MRS Ortho allows him to combine engineering knowledge with a unique individualized touch.

Trent Berryman – Ortho Rep

Trent Berryman was born and raised in Midlothian, Texas. He later graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015 with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. His collegiate highlight was winning the UTSA $100K startup competition with a novel medical device. Trent has won many awards as a sales professional and is the current MRS Ortho “Rep of the Year”.

Billy Whiteley – Ortho Rep

After graduating from the University of Texas, Billy Whiteley worked as a licensed athletic trainer and teacher in public education for 27 years. During his time in education, he worked with 11 teams that won Texas State Championships, as well as many individual State Champions. During the summers, he worked over 20 years at Longhorns Tennis Camp as an instructor and athletic trainer. Billy has worked with MRS Ortho for five years. mpus, and they have 2 daughters.  He has worked with MRS Ortho for 5 years.

Natalie Keck – Clinical Specialist / Safe Balance

Natalie Keck was born and raised in Dallas, TX where she currently resides with her husband and two kids.

Upon graduation from Oklahoma State University with a Business degree, Natalie worked in telecommunications. She then decided to pursue a career in Education teaching Spanish while simultaneously earning her master’s degree in School Counseling, a role that she enjoyed for 7 years. Since 2012, Natalie has had a successful sales career in both the education and medical fields. 

Natalie enjoys meeting new people and cultivating relationships, she looks forward to the positive impact she will have as a Clinical Specialist for MRS. Ortho.

Jeffery Young – Ortho Rep

Jeffrey Young grew up in Waco, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M in 2018 with a B.A. in biology and minor in music. He received his MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington while becoming a licensed EMT. Jeffrey then spent a year writing and producing music both for other musicians and for himself under the name Jeff Tunes. Jeffrey joined MRS Ortho in November 2022.

Jack Knowles – Ortho Rep

Jack, originally from the high plains of West Texas, moved to Dallas with his family when he was young. A highly competitive kid, Jack grew up playing a myriad of individual and team sports until finally discovering rowing his freshman year of high school. He instantly fell in love with it, and trained and competed with the USRowing Junior National team in high school and continued rowing throughout his college career while serving as varsity team captain.


Jack began working with MRS Ortho after graduating with a B.S. in Psychology from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He got into device sales because it combines two of his greatest interests, building relationships with people and studying the human body. While he loves the competitive nature of sales, his favorite part of the job is getting to work as part of a surgical team in the OR.

Cade Cook – Ortho Rep

Cade grew up in northeast Ohio where he attended the University of Akron School of Nursing, and completed his BSN, accompanied by an Associates in Science. Cades’ drive and competitiveness comes from his long history of playing sports, including basketball, golf, and soccer. His love for helping people has translated from nursing school, to his career as a Medical Device Representative, where he serves Foot and Ankle Doctors in the Plano and Frisco area.

Madison Martin – Ortho Rep

Madison Martin grew up north of San Antonio, Texas. After high school she went to Texas Tech University for a year and then transferred to Texas A&M. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2023 with a B.S. in Nutrition. During her time at Texas A&M she worked at an optometrist’s office as a medical assistant, participated in intramural sports and in multiple organizations to help benefit College Station, Texas.

Preston Hannah – Ortho Rep

Preston Hannah is a DFW native who grew up in Keller, Texas and went on to attend Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Earning his B.A. in Business with honors, Preston also played 4 years of NCAA basketball. He earned the role of Team Captain for 2 years and received multiple conference awards. As a collegiate student athlete Preston learned to bring an unrelenting drive to win and competitiveness that pushes him and others around him to success. Medical device sales is the perfect fit for his career because it demands excellence, focus, and leadership. Preston joined MRS Ortho in June of 2023.
